Jacksonville Strings’ Owner and Director, Jessie Polanis, offers
violin and viola lessons to students of all ages in the Jacksonville
area. Besides her extensive experience as a professional violinist
and violist, she has also been a music instructor for a number of
years. She began giving private violin and viola lessons
professionally in 2005 and has also provided music instruction
for LaVilla School of the Arts and the Cathedral Arts Project,
among other organizations. Jessie has served as a judge for the
Florida Federation of Music Clubs Junior Festivals and has
provided workshop instruction for student orchestras and music
